Brokerage account procedures are set by each firm and by the SEC rules that apply to lower-priced securities that are not listed on a national securities exchange. They are not set by the Company, and the Company has no ability to change them. Under SEC Rule 15g-9, before a broker-dealer may effect a purchase of these securities for a customer, the firm must approve the customer's account for such transactions and obtain the customer's written agreement to the specific transaction, unless an exemption applies. One exemption is for established customers of the firm. This is why some investors are able to place orders without difficulty while others are asked to complete additional paperwork or to place the order by telephone. If your firm declines an order, ask them what their account requirements are for this type of security. Your firm, not the Company, is the correct source of that information.
